Hi! I am Teacher Ana Liza, a licensed teacher from the Philippines! As a passionate and dedicated educator with a completed Master's degree, a TESOL certification, and experience in teaching English to young learners, I am eager to contribute my knowledge, skills, and enthusiasm to your school while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. It is quite fulfilling to be able to help a student who strives hard for his/her goals. As for my hobbies, I like reading, watching, enjoying nature, and playing with my nieces! I love spending time with my dearest family, too! I love learning about different languages, and knowing about other cultures!

As an ESL and English teacher, I strive to create engaging, student-centered lessons that develop learners' communication skills, critical thinking, and confidence in using the English language. My lessons are carefully planned to address the four macro skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—while integrating grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and language functions in meaningful contexts. I use a variety of teaching strategies, such as interactive discussions, role-playing, collaborative learning, task-based activities, and technology-enhanced instruction, to accommodate diverse learning styles and encourage active participation. I believe that language is best learned through authentic communication, so I provide opportunities for students to apply English in real-life situations. My teaching style is learner-centered, supportive, and adaptable to the individual needs of my students. Drawing from my experience teaching both international ESL learners and Filipino college students, I foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and learning from their mistakes. I emphasize clear instruction, constructive feedback, and continuous assessment to monitor students' progress and promote lifelong learning. Above all, I aim to inspire my students to become confident, competent, and independent users of English by making learning meaningful, interactive, and relevant to their academic, professional, and everyday communication needs.
